Ships Ahoy!! Alaska Trip

As most of you know, John and I just returned from Alaska a few days ago. It was a wonderful, relaxing trip. We started by celebrating our first anniversary and then cruising to celebrate our graduations. I guess you could say we have a lot to be thankful for. We left for the cruise from Vancouver and sailed to ports in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway. Then we cruised around Galcier bay and College Fjord. These are both glacier parks. The highlights of the trip were the gourmet dining, whale watching, and scenery.
The wea
ther for the trip was amazing also. It was about 75 the whole week. John was pumped about the scenery, and he ended up with about 350 pictures. The one you see here is a picture of an orca (killer) whale jumping out of the water. He was lucky to snap the picture at just that time. Also, the glacier picture is one of College Fjord. Each of the glaciers there are named after a college. Anyway, the trip was perfect. A BIG thanks to Uncle Gail.
