Same John, Same Activity, Different Locations

Well, all of you who talk to us know what is coming up this week. It is finally the week of John's first Board's test, the USMLE Step 1. Basically, it is the culmination of the last two years of the classroom courses he has taken. The test does play a big part in determining which school and specialty he will go into for his career.
On the upside, this is the first of three real milestones we will hit in his education at UTMB. Next week, he will start phase two with his PhD research and dissertation. Then after 3 years (hopefully), he will come back to clinics and finish his MD.
To give you an idea of what he has been up to, I cataloged a typical day in the life of John. As you can see, he pretty much does the same thing over and over again, but varies it a little by studying in different locations. This reflects his crazy study scheduled of 8-16 hours per day.

Here is John studying at Mod Coffeehouse, his favorite study niche on the Strand. They have excellent coffee and snacks too. John up late at night studying pharmacology note cards on the back porch. And finally, at his desk with more studying. You can sense his feeling about his life. Please remember to pray for him on Thursday. It is a big day, and he is feeling the weight of its importance. Thanks to everyone for their encouragement and prayers so far.
