...Tim Claassen on his fancy, new motorcycle. Tim is an old friend from Whitewater, but we really got to know him well during college at K-State. He is on an 8,000 mile bike ride around the nation. He stops to see family and friends as he goes and camps at the places in between. We were encouraged to see him and spend some time with him even though it was only one night.
No post about a vacationer is complete without a shameless plea for visitors. Here is what you need to know:If you pay the expense to come see us, you too can have the same cheap thrills in Galveston that Tim experienced: your choice of a couch or an inflated air mattress in our office, your own restroom facilities (and shower!) adjacent to your living quarters, lawn chair and beers on the beach, a guided, narrated tour of the island, and we may even buy you a meal (some exclusions may apply).

We want cheap thrills in Galveston! We also want the air mattress in the guest bedroom...maybe sometime this summer we can make it down with little Liam.
