The results are in... Drumroll, please...
All of John's hard work from the last year paid off. He did excellent on his National Board Exam. He did not want me to put the actual score of the blog, but it is good enough that we can probably do whatever he wants wherever he wants. (You can call us if you really want to know his score.) It is a huge relief to us for two reasons: he has not decided what he wants to do so he retains all the possible options and because the next place we move is actually not our choice. The medical gods "match" you with a program. Basically, you can rank where you want to go and then the schools that interview you rank which applicants they want. Some combination of those rankings gets you are next placement. If you are higher on the list of the place you want to go, the more likely you will end up where you want to go thus we have a higher chance of being placed where we want to go. Like I said, it is a relief to us to have the options.

That is AWESOME..we are SO happy for you John..that has to be a huge relief. Good job!! Can we go out and celebrate when you guys come for the wedding? I think the four of us should go out.
