Thankful Thanksgiving

It feels like I haven't had time to sit down and actually be thankful this Thanksgiving. Alot has happened in the last year, but it has been a wonderful time of growth for us and learning the important things in life. It has been difficult, but there is one thing that we repeatedly come back to: the Lord is faithful. Despite all other things being uncertain, He has remained faithful. We have never had to rely on the Lord as much as we have in the last 3 months. So, we are so thankful this Thanksgiving for several things:

-Financial stability from generous gifts from dozens of people and FEMA
-The strength to maintain our schedules
-Passing my classes
-Letters, emails, and phone calls of encouragement that have meant as much as monetary gifts to us
-The Church body
-Finding a place to live that is close to school
-The two of us have been able to stay together to this point
-Several new friends within my PA class that are Christians (our small group from church was disbanded by the hurricane)
-Ability to move and find help on the spur of the moment
-A chance to grow closer to the Lord

We can not express our gratitude enough to those who have helped us. There is still alot that is uncertain but we rest in the fact that the Lord has been ahead of us each step and he is faithful.

I'm so gla dyou have been able to find friends through your PA program! I did not realize how much I missed a small group until I got back in one, so I'm sure you are missing those people. But, God will bring others into your life too! Kepp it up through finals, and good luck!

So Erika, I love you. Just saying... but I'm thankful that you are thankful.
I'm also thankful that you wrote a list, because I was starting to think that I was the only person in the world who still did that. Glad to know I'm not alone.
Anyway, yeah, I love you and John a lot! I hope you have a great week, because I'll be down there in no time.
